Executive Summary (Short Version)
Participation in FTMX Week 2026 (the “Week”), organized by Fintech ACMX, A.C. (the “Organizer”), with registered address at Av. Paseo de la Reforma 255, Floor 14 A, Col. Cuauhtémoc, Cuauhtémoc Borough, C.P. 06500, Mexico City, entails acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”).
Hosts are organizations that propose, produce, and operate events (“FTMX Satellites”) that form part of the Week’s official agenda. The Organizer provides visibility, guidelines, and tools, but does not organize or finance such events.
The Week may also include delegations and participants attending FTMX Satellites and other official activities. Ticket purchases for the FinTech México Festival are governed by separate terms and conditions.
The Organizer reserves the right to approve events, modify schedules, adjust venues, or remove events from the official agenda when it deems necessary for the proper curation, operation, and safety of the Week.
By submitting an event proposal as a Host, or by registering to attend a Satellite, the applicant acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms. Any person who does not accept them must refrain from participating in FTMX Week.

1. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Submission of an event proposal for FTMX Week 2026, as well as the use of the Organizer’s official platforms (the “Platforms”) to register as a Host, delegation, or participant, implies that the applicant acknowledges having read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms.
If the applicant does not agree to these Terms, the applicant must refrain from:
- participating as a Host,
- using the Platforms,
- using the “FTMX Week” brand, or
- publicly presenting themselves as part of the Week.
Participation is available only to individuals and legal entities with full legal capacity under Mexican law.
2. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
The Organizer may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments will be published through official channels and will become effective upon publication, unless otherwise stated.
Hosts and participants are responsible for periodically reviewing whether the Terms have been updated. Continued participation or attendance after such changes shall be deemed acceptance of the amended version.
3. Definitions
For purposes of this document:
- FTMX Week or the Week: The week of events organized by the Organizer from February 23 to 28, 2026, in Mexico City.
- FTMX Satellite or Satellite Event: A decentralized event organized by a Host and approved by the Organizer to be included in the official agenda.
- Host: The organization that proposes, produces, and operates a Satellite Event.
- Participant: A person who attends one or more FTMX Satellites or other activities of the Week.
- Delegation: An organized group representing a country, region, or ecosystem and participating in Week activities.
- Organizer: Fintech ACMX, A.C.
- FTMX Week Committee: The team appointed by the Organizer responsible for reviewing and approving proposed events.
- Platforms: The website, forms, registration systems, applications, and other channels used to publicize and manage the Week.
- Festival: FinTech México Festival 2026, the main one-day event within the Week, which is subject to its own terms and conditions.
4. The Week and the Events
FTMX Week is a week dedicated to activating and connecting the digital finance ecosystem through:
- FTMX Satellites organized by various Hosts in Mexico City; and
- central events such as the FinTech México Festival (governed by separate terms).
FTMX Satellites may include: panels, workshops, demo days, office visits, networking spaces, private meetings, and other experiences aligned with the objectives of the fintech ecosystem.
The Organizer may, at any time and acting reasonably:
- adjust the Week’s overall programming;
- update the official agenda, venues, schedules, and event formats;
- cancel, suspend, interrupt, or reschedule the Week or one or more events, when there are reasons of force majeure, safety, operations, or curation.
Such changes shall not, by themselves, give rise to any right to compensation for Hosts or participants.
5. Nature of the Relationship with Hosts
Participation as a Host does not create any employment, agency, partnership, representation, or joint venture relationship between the Organizer and the Host.
The Host acts independently at all times and is solely responsible for organizing, operating, and executing its Satellite Event.
6. Description of the Host Role
FTMX Week integrates Hosts who:
- propose events aligned with the Week’s objectives,
- organize, finance, and execute their Satellite, and
- create spaces for content, connection, and collaboration for the community.
The Host must ensure that its event provides a respectful, safe, professional, and inclusive environment.
7. Registration and Application Process as a Host
To participate as a Host, the applicant must:
- complete the application form provided by the Organizer;
- provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information about the event (description, format, location, date, time, capacity, target audience, etc.);
- expressly accept these Terms.
Submission of a proposal does not guarantee approval or inclusion in the official agenda.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Organizer’s applicable Privacy Notice.
8. Event Curation and Approval
All proposals will be reviewed by the FTMX Week Committee, which will evaluate, among other aspects:
- alignment with the fintech ecosystem and the Week’s objectives,
- quality and relevance of the content,
- contribution to the agenda’s thematic diversity,
- operational and safety feasibility.
An event will be considered part of the official agenda only when:
- it has been approved in writing by the Organizer; and
- it has been published through FTMX Week’s official channels.
The Organizer may:
- adjust schedules and time slots to optimize the overall agenda;
- request modifications to the event’s content, format, or description;
- remove an event from the agenda if it breaches these Terms, poses a risk, or is modified without approval.
9. Host Organization and Responsibilities
The Host shall be responsible for:
- the full planning, operation, and execution of its event;
- contracting and paying for the venue, staff, services, vendors, permits, and insurance as may be required;
- communicating and promoting the event through its own channels;
- managing attendee registration, either through its own tools or, where agreed, through Platforms provided by the Organizer;
- maintaining a safe, respectful environment aligned with ecosystem principles;
- complying with the brand and communications guidelines provided by the Organizer.
The Organizer is not responsible for the logistics, operation, content, or outcomes of Hosts’ events.
10. Organizer Role
The Organizer:
- does not organize or finance Satellite Events;
- does not hire staff or vendors for Hosts;
- does not guarantee minimum attendance or commercial or reputational results.
The Organizer’s role is limited to:
- providing visibility to approved events through the official agenda and its communications channels;
- issuing guidelines and general recommendations;
- facilitating registration and promotional tools when applicable, without assuming operational responsibility.
11. Participation by Attendees and Delegations
Participants and delegations attending FTMX Satellites and other Week activities:
- must register through the Platforms or through the mechanisms enabled by each Host;
- agree to comply with these Terms, as well as each venue’s codes of conduct and rules;
- acknowledge that each Satellite is organized by an independent Host, and that any operational or logistical matters related to the event correspond directly to the Host.
Ticket purchases and attendance for the FinTech México Festival are governed by its own terms and conditions, independent of this document.
12. Brand Use and Intellectual Property
The Host may use the “FTMX Week 2026” and “Official Satellite Event” logos, as well as other authorized brand elements, exclusively to promote approved events, subject to the following conditions:
- do not alter or modify the logos or distinctive signs;
- do not use them for political, ideological, or non-ecosystem purposes;
- do not use them for unapproved events or in misleading communications.
All distinctive signs, designs, trade names, commercial notices, content, photographs, recordings, and other materials related to FTMX Week are the property of the Organizer or their respective owners.
The Organizer may request the immediate removal of materials that do not comply with these guidelines.
13. Photography, Video, and Image Rights
By participating in official Week events (including FTMX Satellites), Hosts, delegations, and participants acknowledge that:
- they may be photographed and recorded in audio and/or video during activities;
- the Organizer may use such material for dissemination, documentation, and promotion of FTMX Week and its future editions, without giving rise to any right to monetary consideration;
- any concerns related to image use must be communicated to the Organizer prior to the event.
Each Host shall also be responsible for informing attendees of any recordings the Host makes and for complying with applicable regulations regarding personal data and image rights.
14. Costs and Compensation
The Organizer does not charge fees for participation as a Host in the Week.
The Host shall be responsible for all costs of its event and acknowledges that:
- the Organizer will not reimburse any expenses or investments made by the Host;
- the Organizer does not provide financial compensation for hosting events;
- there is no commission-based commercial relationship or revenue-sharing arrangement between the Organizer and the Host in connection with organizing the Satellite.
15. Event Cancellations and Modifications
The Host must notify the Organizer of any material modification or cancellation of the event at least five (5) calendar days in advance.
The Organizer may remove an event from the official agenda if:
- it is cancelled,
- it undergoes material changes without notice or approval, or
- it breaches these Terms or poses a risk to the Week.
16. Code of Conduct, Materials, and Prohibited Behaviors
All Week events must be conducted in a safe and respectful environment. The following shall not be permitted:
- discriminatory, violent, harassing, or unlawful content or behavior;
- promotion of hate speech, fraud, or misleading advertising;
- possession or entry of weapons, drugs, or dangerous objects;
- unauthorized commercial activities using the FTMX Week brand.
The Organizer and Hosts may deny entry to, or request the removal of, any person who fails to comply with these principles, without any obligation of refund or compensation.
17. Contingencies and Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or inability to hold the Week or a Satellite Event when due to force majeure, including, without limitation: earthquakes, floods, widespread service outages, governmental actions, social unrest, public health emergencies, or other events beyond the affected party’s reasonable control.
In such cases, the Organizer may:
- reschedule the Week or part of it,
- adjust its format, or
- cancel one or more events when conditions do not allow them to be held.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer:
- shall not be liable for accidents, damages, losses, or claims arising from the holding or non-holding of Satellite Events;
- shall not be liable for technical failures, venue changes, schedules, speakers, or formats of events organized by Hosts;
- does not guarantee commercial, business, reputational, or networking outcomes derived from participation in the Week.
The Host acknowledges that it is solely responsible for its event and that the Organizer assumes no operational or legal obligations arising therefrom.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
Any dispute related to their interpretation or enforcement shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, and the parties waive any other venue or jurisdiction that may otherwise apply.
